While there are some blackjack etiquettes to observe when playing blackjack and blackjack strategies to learn in order to maximize one's winning, there are also several things that are prohibited according to the blackjack rules that gamblers should know about.

1. Do not touch the cards that are dealt by the dealer face up. There are two reasons why these cards are dealt face up. 2. Do not pick the cards that are dealt face down by the player with two hands. Only one hand is allowed which blackjack players must strictly observe.

3. Do not give your cash directly to the dealer's hands. Instead place the money neatly on the table where the act is visible to the security camera of the casino. This is in line with the casino stringent policy that prohibits their dealers from receiving money directly from the player's hands.

4. Do not place the cards on your lap. This is strictly prohibited as this will hide the cards of the player from the security camera's view of the casino. Hence blackjack players should never remove their cards for any reason away from the blackjack table.

5. Do not place your personal belongings such as bags, wallets, keys etcetera on the blackjack table. When ordering drinks, the drinks must be placed on the drink holders that casinos provide for their players to use.

6. Do not forget to adhere to the blackjack rules of using hand signals when one likes to hit or stand. This is simply due to casino's security policy that blackjack players simply have to follow.

7. Do not play blackjack if you do not know the basics of the game. It is simple courtesy to observe to play blackjack properly to avoid frustrating other players.

8. Do not play blackjack without having your game rated by the casino. Casinos are fond of giving away complimentary freebies and one way to avail this is to enroll in a VIP club of the casino.
